Frenchfourch : À la rencontre de la création de demain
Frenchfourch, créé en 2007, est une structure éditoriale indépendante prenant la forme d'une association à but non lucratif. Partant du constat que l’édition contemporaine serait sclérosée, nous souhaitons proposer un espace d’expression et de création graphique plus ambitieux grâce à un savoir faire de qualité. Si l’univers du graphisme est standardisé, Frenchfourch souhaite être précurseur en révélant la création émergente. Il s’agira de dépasser les carcans éditoriaux par la découverte et la mise en lumière de jeunes talents. Chaque artiste est sélectionné pour la singularité, la qualité et la pertinence de sa pratique. Notre créneau : miser sur l’avenir. Frenchfourch participe à de nombreux projets, développe tous les jours un peu plus son image, compte de plus en plus de contributeurs ainsi qu'une équipe en constante augmentation. Frenchfourch est spécialisé dans la production de livres, de zines, de t-shirts, d’affiches et d’expositions en collaboration avec artistes et galeries d’art partenaires.
Frenchfourch: Meeting of the creation of tomorrow
Frenchfourch, established in 2007, is an independent editorial structure in the form of a non-profit organization. Noting that the contemporary publishing is sclerotic, we aim to provide a space for expression and graphic design through a more ambitious quality know-how. If the world of graphic design is standardized, Frenchfourch wants to be a pioneer in showing emerging artists. This will overcome the shackles editorials by the discovery and the highlighting of young talents. Each artist is selected for uniqueness, quality and relevance of his practice. Our niche: banking on the future. Frenchfourch is involved in many projects, every day its image is a little more developed and since its beginning, it has more and more contributors and a team in constant increasing. Frenchfourch specializes in the production of books, zines, t-shirts, posters and exhibitions in collaboration with artists and art galleries partners.
Frenchfourch présente le projet Bastonnade
Frenchfourch présente le projet Bastonnade, collabore avec une soixantaine d’artistes, imprime les sérigraphies et met en place le partenariat entre artistes plasticiens et galeries d’art pour les expositions.
Notre projet a comme mission de promouvoir le travail de jeunes artistes par l’édition d’un album en sérigraphie et d’installations à travers le monde. Notre projet Bastonnade, est une série d’expositions polymorphes et itinérantes.
45 artistes sont sollicités afin de composer une édition de posters sérigraphiés inédite. Chaque poster d'un format de 100x70cm est édité puis numéroté et signé par l’artiste à quinze exemplaires. Sept coffrets en bois sont réalisés par la designer Anna Lejemmetel. Chacun d’eux contient l’ensemble de la série de posters et porte un écusson reprenant les « armoiries » de la ville visitée, designé par Alexandre Centazzo membre du Frenchfourch et Camille Lebourges membre du collectif BM&Fils.
Les destinations sélectionnées sont : Barcelone, Paris, Londres ou Bruxelles, Shangaï, Los-Angeles ou Montréal, Budapest, Moscou. Ces lieux d’expositions seront également lieu de résidence permettant à des artistes plasticiens invités de créer une nouvelle installation en écho à ce catalogue particulier.
Frenchfourch presents Bastonnade
Frenchfourch presents the Bastonnade project which implies working with sixty artists, silkscreening prints and setting up partnerships between visual artists and galleries for exhibitions. Our project's mission is to promote the work of young artists by editing an album and screen printing facilities worldwide. Bastonnade is a series of polymorphous and traveling exhibitions.
45 artists are asked to compose a unique edition of silkscreened posters. Each poster 100x70cm format is published and then signed and numbered by the artist in fifteen copies. Seven wooden boxes are made by designer Anna Lejemmetel. Each contains the entire series of posters and wears a badge showing the "arms" of the city visited, designed by Alexander Centazzo from Frenchfourch and Camille Lebourges from the collective BM & Fils.
The selected destinations are Barcelona, Paris, London or Brussels, Shanghai, Los Angeles or Montreal, Budapest, Moscow. In addition of theses exhibition spaces the visual artists will also be welcomed in these cities, in residency, to create a new installation echoing this particular catalog.

Frenchfourch invite un nouveau collectif pour chacune des dates d’expositions. Certains membres de ces collectifs collaborent habituellement avec Frenchfourch et ont, par ailleurs, proposé une affiche pour la série Bastonnade. Il s’agira pour l’occasion de collaborer avec l’ensemble du collectif afin de réaliser une installation – in-situ – originale.
David Méndez Alonso & la Outsider Division de Barcelone. Mathieu Julien, Sébastien Touache et les sept autres membres du collectif Parisien Jeanspezial. L’association des illustrateurs Mc Bess et Ugo Gattoni formée pour l’occasion. Julia Coffre, Arnaud Finix, Vincent Godeau & Vincent Broquaire constituant du collectif de graphistes designers Strasbourgeois Le bureau. Camille Lebourges & Benjamin Ferval du collectif futuriste BM&Fils basé à Paris. Lémuel, Yannick & Baptiste du collectif Château Vacant situé à Montréal. Chokko 1er, 9 1Ø DO, Dim & Woody du collectif The 4th Dimension basé un peu partout.
Chacun de ces collectifs est en mesure de donner un ton bien particulier aux expositions. Ainsi, David Méndez Alonso et la Outsider Division se chargent de Barcelone, les Jeanspézial occuperont Paris, Mc Bess & Ugo Gattoni investiront Londres et l’équipe de Château Vacant installera à Montréal. Les 4th seront envoyés à Budapest, alors que le duo BM & Fils se déplacera à Shangaï. Les collectifs en charge de Moscou et Los-Angeles restent encore à définir.
Installations:
Frenchfourch creates a new collective for each of the dates of exhibitions. Some members of these groups usually work with Frenchfourch and, moreover, proposed a poster for Bastonnade. This will be an opportunity to collaborate with the entire group to make the in-situ installation.

Each of these groups is able to give your very special exhibitions. Thus, David Alonso Méndez and Outsider Division are in charge of Barcelona, Jeanspézial occupy Paris, Mc Bess & Ugo invest Gattoni London and Vacant Castle team settled in Montreal. The 4th will be sent to Budapest, while the BM & Son duo will move to Shanghai. The collective support of Moscow and Los Angeles are still being defined.
